That must have been a huge amount of work!

I've been following the guy that is making a V4 500cc to fit the Aprilaia RS250 chassis.

Same guy made a 5 litre V-twin, better rubber mount that motor.

This is the first test run of my 5 litre V Twin engine based on two Pratt & Whitney R1340 aircraft cylinders, all other parts are hand made including the crankshaft, con rods and crankcase wooden moulds, the crankcases were then cast in aluminium. The engine runs a dry sump with twin pumps, twin SU carbs, points ignition with manual advance / retard and twin plugs per head.
Always wear protective gear. Usually SPF 30 will do.

Here's a hand built AJS V4 built by Dan Smith who is a member in our Vincent club. He also rode it from Vancouver BC
to Los Angeles and back.
