land speed racer wanted

Hi I have a place in Pleasant Harbor, however, spend most of my time in SO Cal. I'm a land speed racer and going into my 5th year. I have been running modified YZ85s and November did 100.4 mph at El Mirage. Now I want to go vintage.

I am looking for a vintage ( pre 1954 ) beater bike or engine for land speed racing. something small is better, I'm old. If you have something out back please send me an e-mail. The bike will not be restored so all those little pieces are not important.

Interesting about speed records. I was wandering around a few years ago & stopped at Bonneville for the speed trials. I ended up being the crew for a fellow with a ‘49 Speed Twin. He set a record for vintage, pushrod, normal aspirated, twin at 99.6 mph. Very much a wait & hurry up experience.
