The following is what I originally posted as an email, and it pretty well says it all:
I have just recently joined this group, after stopping by at the gathering on the hook in PA last Sunday.
My name is David Sigsbee. My wife, Judith, and I moved here in August 2010 from Memphis, TN. We call it our "escape from Memphis" and are happy we picked this place to retire. It was a Rider Magazine "My Favorite Ride" article about the North Olympic Peninsula (published around 1998) that brought us to consider this area.
In Memphis, I taught at the University of Memphis (classical Greek and Latin) and my wife worked in the childrens' department at the main public library. We are both originally from the northern Indiana and Michigan and, after Memphis, love the cool, unbuggy, northwest.
I have two Honda PC800 Pacific Coasts, a 94 and a 95 and have been riding regularly for almost 50 years now. I grew up in Detroit in a motorcycle world that included Indians, Harleys, Simplex ServiCycles, Cushman motor scooters, and a few home-made wooden go carts with sputtering lawn mower engines. I love wrenching and riding and look forward to being part of this group.

In addition, I should add that I tend to get one bike and ride it for a long time (like as much as sixteen years for the Suzki 850), so I haven't owned many:
