Hello from Michael Audette, I'm 31 and saved up for my first dirt bike when I was 8 and I have been riding and working on them now for 23 years. I have owned too many bike to list but now I own three, a 97 Honda XR 650l, 73 Honda CB 350 four & a 74 Honda CB 200. Bikes have and will always be something I'm into, And with this club It's nice to meet people that feel the same!
Most of the bikes I have owned I got for cheep, they needed work but that's whats so nice about them, just a little work and the're back on the road. The CB200 I got for free from friends, It was downed and parked for over ten years in a barn, someone lost some parts, but Free is to good to pass up, with a little cash and a bit of work It's on the road again!
One thing I would like to see is more people hosting BBQs, or just to meet up for a beer and talk about bikes.
I hosted a BBQ about two moths ago on the spit in PA and will get one going soon again.
Well Hi to everyone and I'm look forward to talking bikes!!! :D

I have thought it would be fun to do a 'come see my collection/shop/projects etc. and I'll bbq something' type event. Trouble is too many would overwhelm my smallish place. I suppose some would not be comfortable hosting such a thing but I would. How could we address the group size issue?

Post a time and place, then set a limit of people that can attend. Let people sign up on the board and when its at limit then all will know... Sounds like a good idea..
