Greetings - Bill here from Freshwater Bay. I met a few of you at the Ediz Hook gig, just happened to be riding by and spotted Doug's Bonneville I had to take a closer look at.
About me: Recently retired, just moved up here permanently from NorCal although we've had our place and have been coming up here for years. Married to my high school sweetheart, she just started riding late last year - offroad only at this point, but that might change as time goes by.
Bikes: Started riding in the early 70's, lots of bikes in my past. Honda XR75, Hodaka 100, Honda CL350, CB450/550/750, Honda XL650, Yamaha RD400, Kawi H2 (scariest bike I ever road), KZ650 x 2, GPZ750 - then I took a 10 year break, started up again 5 years back. A KLR650 kept me going for a while, then sold it last year and picked up a Triumph 800XC and Yamaha WR250R, my current main rides. Also have a couple older trail bikes - wife's XT225 and XR200, the latter is being rebuilt currently. Have an early 60's Honda 90 in the family (65?), sitting unused at my brother's house - I may make a move on it.
RE vintage bikes - nothing yet, but older Triumphs really intrigue me...maybe a Bonneville or Scrambler is in my future. We'll see.
